Gateway Commissioning & Start-up Guide

Elements Needed for Commissioning

Note that many L Systems are shipped to end sites pre-commissioned.

• Mobile device (smartphone or tablet) with Wi-Fi capability
• Available Local Area Network (LAN) connectivity with:

• Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) connectivity (for mobile device to connect via Wi-Fi); and
• Wired LAN connectivity (for L Gateway to connect via Ethernet)

• L Mobile App (available in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• L Gateway
• Lighting Controller(s)

General Commissioning Process

1. Install L Gateway
2. Install the L Mobile App
3. Discover the L Gateway
4. Create First Zone
5. Scan for Lights (Lighting Controllers)
6. Set High-End Trim (if desired)
7. Test Devices
8. Create Additional Zones (repeating process above)
9. Edit Schedules
