Storing discs
Avoid leaving discs in excessively cold, humid,
o
r hot envi r onments (including unde r di r ect
sunlight). Don’t glue p a p e r o r p ut sticke r s onto
the disc, o r use a p encil, ball- p oint p en o r othe r
sha rp -ti pp ed w r iting inst r ument. These could
all damage the disc.
Discs to avoid
Discs s p in at high s p eed inside the p laye r . If a
disc is c r acked, chi pp ed, wa rp ed, o r othe r wise
damaged, don’t r isk using it in you r p laye r —
you could end u p damaging the unit.
This unit is designed fo r use with conventional,
fully ci r cula r discs only. Pionee r disclaims all
liability a r ising in connection with the use of
sha p ed discs.
DVD Video regions
All DVD Video discs ca rr y a r egion ma r k that
indicates which r egion(s) of the wo r ld the disc
is com p atible with. You r DVD system also has
a r egion ma r k (on the r ea r p anel). Discs f r om
incom p atible r egions will not p lay in this
p laye r . In this instance, the following message
