2 Select ‘Random’ then select an option.

Creating a program list
This featu r e lets you pr og r am the p lay o r de r of
titles/cha p te r s/t r acks on a disc.

1 During playback, press HOME MENU and
select ‘Play Mode’.
2 Select ‘Program’ then select ‘Create/Edit’
from the list of program options.

and ENTER to select a
title, chapter or track for the current step in
the program list.
• Fo r a DVD disc, you can add a title o r a
cha p te r .
• Fo r a CD o r Video CD/Su p e r VCD, select a
t r ack to add to the pr og r am list.
Afte r pr essing
ENTER
to select the title/
cha p te r /t r ack, the ste p numbe r automatically
moves down one.
4 Repeat step 3 to build up a program list.
A pr og r am list can contain u p to 24 ste p s.
• You can inse r t ste p s by just highlighting
the p osition whe r e you want the new ste p
to a pp ea r and ente r ing a title/cha p te r /t r ack
numbe r .
• To delete a ste p , highlight it and pr ess
CLEAR
.
5 To play the program list, press  (play).
P r og r am p lay r emains active until you tu r n off
pr og r am p lay (see below), e r ase the pr og r am
list (see below), eject the disc o r switch off.

Other functions available from the
program menu
The r e a r e a numbe r of othe r o p tions in the
pr og r am menu in addition to C r eate/Edit.
• Playback Start – Sta r ts p layback of a
saved pr og r am list
• Playback Stop – Tu r ns off pr og r am p lay,
but does not e r ase the pr og r am list
• Program Delete – E r ases the pr og r am list
and tu r ns off pr og r am p lay

Note
1 You can’t use P r og r am p lay with VR fo r mat DVD-R/-RW discs, WMA/MP3/MPEG-4 AAC discs, DivX video/WMV discs, o r while
a DVD disc menu is being dis p layed.
