SECTION 2 - TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
The 41-752 is a six channel battery simulator designed to simulate the performance of six separate batteries and is
suitable for testing equipment that employ a battery stack.

The battery simulator uses an isolated DC to DC converter system that provides a fixed voltage to a linear regulator.
The control system for the linear regulator is powered from separate DC to DC converters (not shown). The
linear regulator provides an output voltage of between 0 and 7V to the output terminals. The use of remote sense
connections allows the batter simulator to sense the supplied voltage at the load, permitting the regulator to correct
for voltage drops in the connecting wires.
The 41-752 also includes a programmable current sink that allows the outputs to sink as well source current,
simulating the ability of a battery to accept a charging current from a battery charger.
