ACCESSORIES
Pickering Interfaces offer a range of break out boxes that support all the connectors used on its products. These
break out boxes provide a simple way of connecting to fully enclosed terminal blocks rather than directly to the D
Type connector and they incorporate cable grips to resist wire breakage. For the 41-752, which uses a 37 way D
Type connector, Part Number 40-965-037 can be used.
HOWEVER, FOR APPLICATIONS WHERE MANY SERIES CHANNELS ARE USED TO GENERATE A HIGH
VOLTAGE BATTERY STACK, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF CONNECTOR BLOCKS. THE USE
OF HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE PARTS IS RECOMMENDED TO AVOID SAFETY ISSUES AND TO MINIMISE THE
RISK OF VOLTAGE BREAKDOWN BETWEEN THE BATTERY SIMULATOR CHANNELS AND FRONT PANEL
GROUND.
Pickering can also provide cables for extending the 37-way D-Type connection to a remote point.
