The “Socket Port Data Transfer” vendor-specific object defines the attributes by which the
PLC can transfer data to and from an Ethernet device, via a socket port through a
GW EIP/ASCII... over EtherNet/IP.
There is one instance of this object per serial port. The instance number corresponds to
the associated serial port number on the GW EIP/ASCII.... Port numbers are numbered
from one to N.
