- Remove:
• the lock washer (2).
• The nut (3).
• The rubber washer (4).
• The nut (5).
• The flat washer (6).
• The dust cover (7).
• The upper cone (8).
• Remove the caged ball bearings (9).
- Remove the fork.
Replacing the bearings of the steering
system
Steering headset cups
If the steering head cups are changed, the
cones and ball bearings must also be
changed.
- Using a drift, remove the steering head cups.
- Install new steering head cups using tool
