You can protect the device against unauthorized or undeliberate parameter changes (write

protection).

Parameter

Description

Lock Code

• Unlocked: Adapter is unlocked, all parameters can be changed

• Lock Temporary: Adapter is locked. A device reset or power loss

will unlock it

• Lock Permanent: Adapter is locked. It can be unlocked by a

master only

• Lock All: Adapter is locked. It can be unlocked only by the master

that locked it

Lock Status

Indicates, by ticks against the boxes, the following locking
statuses

• Device Locked

• Lock is Permanent

• Locked by Primary Master (Reset if Secondary master)

• Configuration Cannot be Changed

• Locked by Gateway

Wireless Module
Firmware Update
Lock

• Unlocked: Adapter firmware can be downloaded

• Locked: Adapter firmware cannot be downloaded
