Preface

This guide will lead you through the installation procedure of all software components 

needed to be installed prior to the operation of the FDT/DTM based Fuchs DTM 

application.

The installation procedure comprises of the following software components

•

Microsoft

PACTware

 Framework

DTM Collection

Downloading the required software

Where to download the required software?

1. Visit http://www.pepperl-fuchs.com and scroll down to the bottom of the page until you 

see the area 

Pepperl+Fuchs International site links

.

2. Click on the 

Process Automation

 link.

The Process Automation main page is loaded.

3. In the 

Process Automation Products

 menu, click on the 

Software

 link.

The 

Software

 main page is loaded.

4. Now download the software components 

Microsoft

®

 .NET Framework, 

PACTware

®

, 

and the 

DTM Collection

 for your product. You might need to scroll down the page to 

find the required component.

5. Decompress the downloaded ZIP files and store the data on your local hard drive.

Note!

If one of the software component is already installed on your system the installation may be 

omitted.
