Maintanance guide
Step 1 :
Tap counter-clockwise with a flat screwdriver on one of the teeth of the threaded ring. Small strokes are
recommended (see image 7).
Step 2 :
Unscrew counter-clockwise the cylinder with gloves for better grip (see image 8).
NOTE :
If the cylinder does not turn, loosen the two bolts supporting the ash box beneath the burner by using a
9/16”-14mm wrench (see image 13 on page 25).
Step 3 :
To clean the burn-pot holes, use a 1/8” or 3mm rod from outside to inside (see image 9). Make sure you
put the burner tube back in the right direction: the holes angled upward and straight holes down

Step 4 :
Before installing the burner, it is necessary to clean the threads with a steel brush (see image 10 and 11).
WARNING: PROTECT YOUR EYES WITH SAFETY GLASSES
IF USING A DRILL EQUIPPED WITH A STEEL BRUSH.
Lubricate threads with high temperature grease. Screw the cylinder and ring clockwise with your hand and do not
to tight (see image 8 and 12).
Note to replace the burner: Always use original Paromax parts available from your dealer. Part Number * RA-10-
580 for the wood pellets or * RA-10-581 for corn / wheat.

Note: Tighten the threaded ring with only your hands when cleaning
the burner during maintenance. Do not use any tools for tighten.
