USING THE RECLINER
1. Armrest

In the chair position, the armrest is used to rest elbows and upper limbs. Opening the armrest on the
outer side enables puncturing and blood sample collection to be performed in a comfortable position.

The patient can open the armrest to the outside or flip it up when getting on or off the recliner.
z
The armrest moves together with the backrest, and when the backrest goes horizontal the armrest
also goes down.

2. Adjusting the footrest position
z
The footrest position can be adjusted to correct shifts in body position or to relieve pressure on the
back of the femoral region.
WARNING
z
z
Be careful not to allow the foot to enter the
gap between the footrest and the leg rest.
When the foot enters the gap, the patient
might not be able to withdraw, and there is
a risk of injury.

, lift the footrest position
adjustment belt (hereafter, “the belt”). The footrest
moves automatically.

, lift the belt while the
patient pushes with his or her feet on the footrest,
then release the belt when the desired position is
achieved.

The footrest is fixed in the position where the belt
was released.
