PROBLEM #1: The simulator “freezes”, “locks-up” or displayes an error message.
REASON: Several (see below)
SOLUTIONS:
1. Reboot the simulator. –
If the machine freezes for any reason, the only solution is to to reboot the
system. You do this by pressing the red button, inside the console door,
to turn the computer off, waiting 15 seconds and turning the system back
on. Make your selections from the touch monitor and select RESTORE
GAME. This will return you to the last tee box played with all golf
information intact.
Keep track of the number of times the error occurs. If it is consistent,
there may be a problem with the hard drive in the computer that will need
to be serviced. If the problem does not present itself again, it may have
been a minor problem with computer data transfer and is no cause for
alarm.
If the system returns to proper operation after the reboot, you are finished.
If not, refer to solution 2.
3. Send computer module to
Optronics for repair. –
