PROBLEM #2: Some (or none) of the lights on the Optisense do not illuminate.
REASON: Several (see below).
SOLUTIONS:
1. Ensure that lamps in the fixtures
are not burned out. – Replace the bulb with the proper wattage and voltage for each fixture. The
IR lamps are 300 watts, 110 Volts (220 Volts where applicable). The
driving lamp is 50 Watts, 110 Volts (220 Volts where applicable). And
the putting lamps are 75 Watts, 110 Volts (220 where applicable).
If the lamps return to operation after replacement, you are finished. If not,
refer to solution 2.
2. Replace fuses on the Optisense
POWER board. – Periodically, power “spikes” will blow a fuse on the Optisense power
board. The power board is located inside the Optisense module (on top of
the Optisense, below the 2 large fan filters). TURN POWER OFF and
swing Optisense down. Remove cable connections (mark cables for
proper replacement) and module cover, replace fuses and reinstall cover
and cables.
If the lamps return to operation after replacement of fuses, you are
finished. If not, refer to solution 3.
3. Replace Optisense Controller
board. – Call Optronics for service….(801) 486-5407.
PROBLEM #3: No power to the Optisense.
REASON: Several (see below)
SOLUTIONS:
1. Ensure that the power cord has
not come loose. – With vibration, the power cord may loosen over a period of time. Make
sure that the Optisense is plugged in.
If this returns power to the Optisense, you are finished. If not, refer to
solution 2.
2. Make sure that there is power to
the outlet that the system is
plugged into. –
Sometimes circuit breakers are tripped and need to be reset.
If this returns power to the Optisense, you are finished. If not, refer to
solution 3.
3. Replace the power switch (on the
front of the Optisense). –

4. Replace the power supply (inside
