3.3.2 Vision AXTOOL

AXTOOL is the software for supporting AX and PV series. AXTOOL Version 1.1 or later supports the
AX40. It operates on a PC-AT compatible computer. (Required operation system: Windows 98® SE
/Windows® Me or Windows ®2000/Windows®XP).

The AXTOOL provides the following functions:

• You can store and organize the setting data and image data (a memory-image and a saved-image) in

your PC by backing up them. Those data can be restored to AX40. When multiple AX40s are used for
the same inspection purpose, you can use the data for copying.

• Since the setting contents are written in the CSV format, you can read the data on Microsoft Excel.

This will be helpful if you create a document or operation manual.

For further information, refer to the documentation that came with AXTOOL or on-line help.

How to Obtain the AXTOOL

To use AXTOOL, download the file from our web site. Downloading it requires registration of your
information (for free).
