Using the NPST-GR Programming Support Tool

The tools to be prepared ; NPST-GR Software

:AFP266538

FP Peripheral Cable

:AFP5520(0.5m) or AFP5523(3m)

RS422/232C Adapter :AFP8550
RS232C Cable

: Refer to the page 91. 

Computer

: IBM PC-AT 100 % compatible

MS-DOS(PC-DOS) Ver.3.3 or later

1.Connect the RS422 port on the CPU to the RS422 port on the RS422/232C Adapter with the FP Peripheral

Cable. Then, connect the RS232C port on the RS422/232C Adapter to RS232C port on your computer using an
RS232C cable.

Note : 

2.Select “SPECIFY LINK UNIT” from the “MENU”(“Ctrl” + “f10”) in “ONLIN mode.

3.Select the LINK number and station number (UNIT NO) in the specified range.

4.Perform programming to the Programmable Controller  specified by the above procedure.

• Be sure to check the NPST configuration using the “Esc” menu.
