SD skin tone detail
When the AK-HC3500A/AK-HC3500 camera is
used
This is used to apply coring to the detail
enhancement of the skin tone areas in the SDTV
video output signals to soften the skin tone detail
enhancement.
When the SDTV skin tone detail OFF switch is
lighted, the effects will be reflected in the images
and the numerical values can be changed.
When the AK-HC3800 camera is used
This does not operate and “- - -” is displayed
because the function is not available.

parts where the skin tone detail is applied.
Selection range: LOW, MID, HIGH
When the AK-HC3800 camera is used
This does not operate and “- - -” is displayed
because the function is not available.
ZEBRA: Skin tone area zebra
When the AK-HC3500A/AK-HC3500 camera
is used
This is used to set whether to apply the zebra
pattern to the areas where coring is applied as
the skin tones to the Y signals in the PM output.
Selection range: OFF, ON
When the AK-HC3800 camera is used
This does not operate and “- - -” is displayed
because the function is not available.
PHASE: Skin tone area phase
When the AK-HC3500A/AK-HC3500 camera
is used
This is used to move the areas to be recognized
as the skin tones in the range of 93 to 153 along
the Q axis on the color vector display.
Adjustment range: 93 to 153
When the AK-HC3800 camera is used
This does not operate and “- - -” is displayed
because the function is not available.
WIDTH: Skin tone area width
When the AK-HC3500A/AK-HC3500 camera
is used
This is used to widen the areas to be recognized
as the skin tones in the range of 1 to 20 along
the I axis on the color vector display.
Adjustment range: 1 to 20
When the AK-HC3800 camera is used
This does not operate and “- - -” is displayed
because the function is not available.
CRISP: Skin tone detail crisp
When the AK-HC3500A/AK-HC3500 camera
is used
This is used to remove the very faint noise
components from the detail components of the
skin tone areas.
Adjustment range: 0 to 7
When the AK-HC3800 camera is used
This does not operate and “- - -” is displayed
because the function is not available.
