Chapter 3

Field Resource Activities

2.

Open the Activity details page for the activity that you want to complete.

3.

Click Activity Completion.

4.

Fill up the required fields and click Submit.

5.

On the Select next activity dialog box, select I will be idle for a while.

If you do not have the 'Allow selection of the next activity on Complete' permission, you can't change the order
of appointments. So, you will not see the Select next activity dialog box.

6.

Click Confirm.

The remaining activities in the route are in Pending status. Your travel time is not considered for learning until
you mark the next activity as En route.

Change the Activity After Selecting ‘En Route’ Status  

Sometimes, an urgent activity may come up when you have already set 'En route' to an activity. You can change the
activity, select the urgent activity and click 'En route'. You must have the 'Allow activity reorder inside the route' and
'Allow activity move from non-scheduled pool to scheduled one' permissions to change an En route activity to a
different activity.

You must perform this procedure when you receive an urgent activity after marking an activity as 'En route'.

1.

Open the Activity details page for the urgent activity that you want to attend to.

2.

Click En route.

The previous activity is returned to the Pending status and is ordered first in the route. The urgent activity is
changed to En route.

Stop Travel and Move an Activity to Another Day or Resource  

Let's say you are on the way to an activity and your vehicle breaks down. You can stop your travel and reschedule the
activity to another resource or another day. You can proceed to the next activity after your vehicle is repaired.

1.

Open the Activity details page for the activity that you want to stop.

2.

Click Stop Travel.

A confirmation dialog box appears and informs you that the status of the current activity will be changed to
Pending.

3.

Click Submit on the confirmation dialog box.

The current activity is marked as Pending.

4.

Open the Activity details page and move the activity to another resource or day.

5.

When you are ready to go to the next activity, open My Route.

6.

Click En route for the next activity in the route.

Restoring Partially Filled Pages from Drafts  

You can save the data on the partially-filled Forms or Tabs and restore the data at a later stage. Drafts are supported for
serialized inventory and not supported for non-serialized inventory.

You have this option available on the Activity, Resource, Inventory, and User pages.

When you edit or fill a form partially and try to navigate to another page, a confirmation dialog box appears on the
page. Depending on your selection (either Yes or No), you can either save the draft or discard the changes.

Click No you’ll be redirected to the previous page and you’ll lose all the unsaved data.

Click Yes; you save a draft of the changes and navigate to the previous page.
