The drive of the feed rod is switched off as soon as the stop is contacted.

PREVENTIVE MEASURES!

Switch off the automatic feed of the lathe saddle about 4 or 5 mm before the stop.

INFORMATION

The feed rod drive can only be switched on if the gearbox levers are in the right position. By
switching on the drive, the magnetic coupling of the feed rod is closed.



Place the feed direction control handle situated on the headstock in the left-side feed posi-
tion.



Select and set the feed.



Place the turning / module thread / D.P selection lever (5) on the swivel gear drive to the
"turning" position.
