Adjustments to the horizontal and vertical size of the search areas, or offsets, are made using the
sliders on the left and bottom of the matrix area. Slide up or to the right to make ROIs bigger with
overlap. Slide down or to the left to make ROIs smaller around each code.
The same control is used to configure
Offset
. Offset shifts every other row or column to the right or left,
or up of down. This is useful when setting up interstitial grid types. An example of Offset is shown in
Section 4-6-5 – Advanced Control – Offset
.
Clicking the
Reset
icon at the bottom left of the two axes will reset the
Size
or
Offset
to
zero
.
In the image below, the ROIs have been made smaller around each code to optimize decode time.
When setup of the ROIs is complete, all items should decode successfully. Setting triggering to
On
allows you to see adjustments in real time.
