V440-F C-Mount Code Reader User Manual

Setup Buttons

When you click the

Assisted Setup

button in the

Start

view, a dialog with a

series of questions

about

your application will appear. Answering these simple questions allows WebLink to configure your setup

for you.

Clicking

Create New Setup

allows you to create a new setup without using Assisted Setup. Create a

New Setup will perform a software reset and will recall default parameters except Communication

settings. The New Setup should not save to flash, so you should be able to cycle power to the reader

and see the settings that were last saved to flash.

Load a Setup

to load an existing

.wls

WebLink setup file. The .wls file contains all current

reader settings.
