Device Data Transfer Setting Entries
Select the device data transfer setting table and click the Add Button. A device data transfer setting
group will be added and the settings will be displayed.

No. Item Description
1 Data Length Sets the data length for the transfer source and destination addresses. The length will be the
same for both the transfer source and destination addresses. Select from the following: BIT
(1 bit), BYTE (8 bits), WORD (16 bits), or DWORD (32 bits).
2 Convert Endians
Select this check box to convert the endian when data is transferred from the source address
to the destination address. This setting cannot be made when the data length is set to BIT.
3 No. of Elements Sets the number of elements (1 to 1,024) to be transferred starting from the source address
to memory starting from the destination address. This setting is always 1 when the data
length is set to BIT.
4 Transfer Source

note.) Sets the transfer source address.
5 Transfer Destina-
tion Address
(See note.) Sets the transfer destination address.
6 Comment Sets a comment.
Note: This address must be set. A tag cannot be set.
Precautions for Correct Use
•
Reading from the transfer source and writing to the transfer destination of the device data transfer
function is sometimes performed in multiple transfers. Data concurrency may not be maintained for
the data.
•
If a communications error or a PT power interruption occurs while data is being read from the trans-
fer source, processing will stop and the data will not be transferred to the destination.
•
If a communications error or a PT power interruption occurs while data is being read to the transfer
destination device after having been read from the transfer source, processing will stop. Depending
on the size of the data transfer, it is possible that only that portion of the data that was read to the
destination device before the interruption will be transferred.
