Error Log

Section 9-2

9-2-1

Error Log Contents

The error log is stored in DM 6569 through DM 6599 as shown below.

Each record consists of 5 words including the Special I/O Unit error code,
detailed information, and time. Up to 11 error records are stored in the order
they occur. The number of records that have been stored will be stored in the
first word in hexadecimal.

Note

1.

The times stored in the error log are read from the CPU Unit. If the time
cannot be accessed from the CPU Unit, all zeros will be stored for the time.

2.

Refer to the manuals for the CS-series PLC for information on the CPU
Unit error log.
