Program Example 1 for Sampling Mode
This section explains a program example for a system using the High-speed
Counter Unit in sampling mode.
Note
After writing a program, make sure that the program works properly.
System Configuration

Operation
After product 1 is loaded on the scale, the count value is read in a short inter-
val, in which the oscillations from the scale’s springs will die out and an accu-
rate count value can be obtained.
The value in the parentheses is for counter 2.
Offset phase inputs multiplied by 4 are input to the encoder to keep the preci-
sion of the system.
BCD data is used in the system.
External control input IN1 is used.
Switch Settings
The unit number of the High-speed Counter Unit is set to 1.
Wiring
The A- and B-phase outputs of the incremental encoder are connected to
counter 1 inputs A and B.
Connect the outputs of the proximity sensor to external control input IN1.
