Monitor
Master Status Monitor Online Displays the Master’s status in real time. Also displays the status of
Slaves involved in remote I/O communications with the Master.
Use this command to monitor detailed device status information. p. 81
Slave Status Monitor Online Displays the status of the specified MULTIPLE I/O TERMINAL
(DRT1-COM Communications Unit). The configuration of I/O Units
connected to the Communications Unit will also be displayed. p. 77
Master Communication
Cycle Time Online The communications cycle time is the interval between remote I/O
communications events with a Slave. This command displays the
network’s communications cycle time in real time. (The
communications cycle time normally varies with network
conditions.) p. 82
Set Refresh Timer Online Sets the interval between display updates for the device list as well
as Master status monitoring and communications cycle time
monitoring. If this interval is too short, it will place too much of a
load on network communications. p. 81
Display Master Error
History Online CompoBus/D Master Units are equipped with an error history
function which records details on errors that have occurred during
operation. This command reads and displays the error history
information recorded in the Master Unit; it can also be used to clear
the error history information in the Master Unit. The error history
information read from the Master cannot be saved. p. 83
Start Remote I/O
Communication Online Starts remote I/O communications. Masters can be specified
individually. p. 80
Stop Remote I/O
Communication Online Stops remote I/O communications. Masters can be specified
individually. p. 80
Tool Device Parameters
Setup Online Directly writes device parameters through the network to other
companies’ devices that don’t have EDS files. To use this
command, you must obtain detailed device information (such as
the class, instance, and attribute values) from the manufacturer. p. 91
Node Address/Com-
munication Rate Setup Online Some Slaves manufactured by other companies must have their
node address and baud rate set through the network. Use this
command to set the node address and baud rate in that type of
Slave. p. 88
Help Search Topic Both The CompoBus/D Configurator is equipped with a help function
that provides information and guidance for various operations. This
command calls the help function. ---
