Error Checking Parameters
Gamut range: YCbCr
The first line of this group of settings specifies the percentage of the image which needs to be out
of range before an error is reported. This is followed by settings for the minimum and maximum
acceptable values for luma and chroma expressed as decimal values.
Gamut range: RGB
These settings specify the conditions under which an RGB Range Error will be reported, in a
similar way to the above YCbCr Range Error.
Physical
This section is concerned with data embedded in the video signal that may be present/absent or
otherwise in error. In most cases, a value is set which gives the number of such errors that can
happen per frame before an error should be reported. Active Picture EDH/CRC errors and Full
Raster EDH/CRC errors are counted separately.
SDI Eye & Jitter Thresholds
Separate sections are given for different SDI video formats, detailing the threshold levels at which
errors are reported, covering:

The amount of Jitter (expressed in UI)

Eye Rise/Fall times (expressed in ps)

Eye Rise/Fall difference i.e. the difference between the measured rise and fall times
(expressed in ps)

Eye Amplitude levels (expressed in mV)
