Measure to be taken when an error code is displayed on the
monitor or the touch panel of the surgical microscope
When an error code is displayed, some functions may not be available. If a code other than the
error codes listed below is displayed, take an optimum measure by referring to the instruction
manual for the equipment used in combination with this instrument. If an optimum measure
cannot be taken, contact Olympus.

error The temperature of
the LED light source
exceeded the
permitted limit. The main lamp of this instrument is unavailable.
Put the surgical microscope to the WLI mode and set the
spare lamp selector lever of this instrument to “SPARE
LAMP”. Turn the surgical microscope and this instrument
OFF and contact Olympus.

E127 Light source
error Irregularity in the LED
light source. The main lamp of this instrument is unavailable.
Put the surgical microscope to the WLI mode and set the
spare lamp selector lever of this instrument to “SPARE
LAMP”. After use, turn the surgical microscope and this
instrument OFF and contact Olympus.

light source. The main lamp of this instrument is unavailable.
Set the spare lamp selector lever of this instrument to
“SPARE LAMP”. After use, turn the surgical microscope
and this instrument OFF and contact Olympus.

permitted limit. The spare lamp of this instrument is unavailable.
If this error occurred during use of the main lamp, contact
Olympus after use. If this error occurred during use of the
spare lamp, immediately stop the use, turn this instrument
OFF, and contact Olympus.

light source. The spare lamp of this instrument is unavailable.
After use, turn the surgical microscope and this instrument
OFF and contact Olympus.
