CAUTION
• Hold the carrying handle firmly when transporting this instrument. Otherwise, the
instrument may drop and may cause equipment damage.
• Before connecting, unplug the power cord of the surgical microscope from the
hospital grade wall mains outlet and do not turn it on. Otherwise, the equipment
may be damaged and also the light output from the light guide terminal of this
instrument may enter your eye and cause injury.
• Do not hold this instrument by the spare lamp selector lever. Also, do not apply an
excessive force to the spare lamp selector lever. Otherwise, equipment damage
may result.

• Make sure that this instrument is not connected to the surgical microscope before
connecting the foot switch hanger. Otherwise, the foot switch hanger would collide
with this instrument and damage it.
