CAUTION
• Always use this instrument with the provided cable cover attached. Otherwise,
disconnection or damage of a cable may result. Also, the light guide cable
becomes hot during use and causes burns to the person who touches the extremity
of the cable.
• When attaching the cable cover to this instrument, be careful not to have the cable
caught by the cover. Otherwise, equipment damage may result.
• When attaching the cable cover to this instrument, always be sure to use the
provided lock screws (M4 × 10 mm) and Allen screwdriver (3 mm width across
flats, 160 mm axial length). Otherwise, equipment, the cable cover, or the provided
lock screws (M4 × 10 mm) may be damaged.
3.5 Connection of cable cover

Attach the cable cover on the right side of this instrument taking care not to catch a
cable in between. Attach in a way that the spare lamp selector lever protrudes from
the hole on the cable cover.

Insert the provided lock screws (M4 × 10 mm) into the attaching holes on the cable
cover and attach the cable cover securely on this instrument using the provided Allen
screwdriver (3 mm width across flats, 160 mm axial length).
