4.5 Inspection of spare lamp function

Ch.4
Use the following steps to confirm that the spare lamp functions normally.
CAUTION
Be careful not to place the spare lamp selector lever in an intermediate position.
Otherwise, lack of illumination may result.
NOTE
• The illumination light is extinguished during operation of the spare lamp selector
lever. This is not malfunction.
• The noise of the cooling fan inside this instrument increases when the spare lamp
is lit. This is not malfunction.

Set the spare lamp selector lever to “SPARE LAMP”.
