5.7 Setup of the PRINTER SETUP Menu

Setting “GAMMA”
When the SDTV signal is used as the input video signal
to this instrument and the picture to be printed contains
a large black or white area, this item is used to adjust the
black or white area so that it can be printed in details.

” to move the cursor on
“GAMMA.”
Characters “GAMMA” are displayed in green
when the cursor is positioned on this item.

” or “
B
” to select from among “SOFT,”
“NORMAL” and “HARD.”
The selected setting is displayed in green on the
monitor.
Setting “HD GAMMA”
Refer to the “Setting “HD GAMMA”” on page 43.
Setting “PRN SPEED”
This item is used to set the print speed.

” to move the cursor on “PRN
SPEED.”
Characters “PRN SPEED” are displayed in green
when the cursor is positioned on this item.

” or “
B
” button to select either
“NORMAL” or “HIGH.”
The selected setting is displayed in green on the
monitor.
Setting “LOAD USER”
This item is used to recall and load the setups saved for
every user (setups saved in “Setting “SAVE USER”” on
page 60) is loaded.
“LOAD USER” can also be set by pressing the LOAD
USER button on the front panel or using the BASIC
SETUP menu. Changing the setup of one of these
buttons or items affects the setups of all of them.

” to select from among “1,” “2” and
“3.”
The selected setting is displayed in green on the
monitor. Moreover, the user name of the selected
setup (registered in “5.16 USER NAME Entry
Screen” on page 62) is displayed below the setting
value.
SOFT : The picture to be printed contains a large
white area.
NORMAL : Printing an ordinary picture.
HARD :
The picture to be printed contains a large
black area.
NORMAL : Prints at the normal speed. (High
quality image)
HIGH : Prints at the high speed. (The image quality
is lower than at the “NORMAL” speed.)
