Configure the transmitter – part 2
a.
Alarm Transmit (Burst Mode)
Select the desired transmit interval when in alarm state(s).
Range: 30 to 60 seconds
When the H2S level detected is below the set limits, the
transmitter will report based on normal transmit interval.
b.
High Alarm Limit
Select the desired high alarm limit level.
Range: 3.0 to 10.0 ppm
c.
High-High Alarm Limit
Select the desired high-high alarm limit level.
Range: 10.0 to 50.0 ppm
d.
Latch Alarm(s)
None
option: When the H2S level falls below the alarm limits, the
alarm state will return to the off state.
Alarm 2 only or both
options: When the H2S level falls below the
alarm limits, alarm state will remain latched in the on state and
will require the alarms to be manually cleared using the external
scroll button on the transmitter.
WARNING
: Verify that gas concentration in the area have
dissipated to a safe level before entering area to clear alarms.
