predetermined period of time after the media feed sensor (on REYB) has been
unblocked.

exit section • The registration sensor (on REYB) is blocked when the power switch is turned
ON, the cover is opened and closed, or a misfeed or malfunction is reset.

• The printer’s CPU performs a self-diagnostics function that, on detecting a malfunction,
gives the corresponding malfunction code and maintenance call mark on the control
panel.

• The belt positioning sensor does not detect the trans-
fer belt position detection hole a second time even
after the lapse of a predetermined period of time after
it has detected one while the transfer belt is rotated.
