Océ 9800 Printer User Manual

Activating the time switch

The time switch function allows you to program the system to automatically
turn itself on at a specified time and off after a certain idle-time.

The advantages of this time switch are:

■

the system is ready for use at the start of the working day

■

energy-savings when the system is not being used.

Defining the switch on/off time and days

Access key operator mode.

Open the ‘Timers’ card in the ‘Machine’ section.

Press the ‘On/Off timer’ function button (see figure 57).

Enter the required switch-on time/switch-off delay (hours/minutes), using the
‘higher/lower’ buttons.

Press the ‘Work days’ function button.

Enter the required working days using the ‘higher/lower’ buttons.

When finished, exit key operator mode.

Note:

Make sure that you turn the key to the ‘timer’ position if you want the

machine to automatically be turned on.
