Field
Description
FREN
Freeze Enable bit
The FREN bit, if set and validated by the FRZ bit in EMIOSMCR register, allows the channel to enter
freeze state. This freezes all register values when in debug mode and allows the MCU to perform
debug functions.

ODIS
Output Disable bit
The ODIS bit allows disabling the output pin when running any of the output modes, with the
exception of GPIO mode.
0 The output pin operates normally
1 If the selected Output Disable Input signal is asserted, the output pin goes to EDPOL for OPWFMB
and OPWMB modes and to the complement of EDPOL for other output modes, but the Unified
Channel continues to operate normally, that is, it continues to produce FLAG and matches; when
the selected Output Disable Input signal is negated, the output pin operates normally.
ODISSL[0:1] Output Disable select bits
The ODISSL[0:1] bits select one of the four output disable input signals, as shown in
UCPRE[0:1]
Prescaler bits
The UCPRE[0:1] bits select the clock divider value for the internal prescaler of Unified Channel, as
shown in
UCPREN
Prescaler Enable bit
The UCPREN bit enables the prescaler counter.
0 Prescaler disabled (no clock)0:1
1 Prescaler enabled
DMA
Direct Memory Access bit
The DMA bit selects if the FLAG generation will be used as an interrupt or as a DMA request.
0 Flag/overrun assigned to interrupt request
1 Flag/overrun assigned to DMA request
IF[0:3]
Input Filter bits
The IF[0:3] bits control the programmable input filter, selecting the minimum input pulse width that
can pass through the filter, as shown in
. For output modes, these bits have no meaning.
