Setup 600 – Individual Name

7.3.5.4

Setup 600 – Alarm Modes

Select Name Idx.

Function:

Selects the index of the name to be edited

Settings:

0 – 7

The selected index determines which of the eight user-definable
names is edited when the „change sel. name“ menu is called.

Change Sel. Name

Function:

Edits the user-definable name stored at the selected index

Settings:

Name (9 alphanumeric characters max.)

Edit the name as required. When the „change sel. name“ menu
is quit, the name is stored at the selected index

Note

The settings for the eight user-definable names must be kept identical throughout
the entire system.

Function:

Selects the alarm conditions to display at the SAM.

Settings:

SYSTEM ALARM

ON: The SAM displays steering system alarms (except override
and helm advisor alarms).
OFF: The SAM displays no steering system alarms.

OVERRIDE ALARM

ON: The SAM displays override alarms (NFU or FU override).
OFF: The SAM displays no override alarm.

HELM ADV. ALARM

ON: The SAM displays the helm advisor alarm.
OFF: The SAM displays no helm advisor alarm.

ABS 2000 ALARM

ON: The SAM displays the ABS override alarm.
OFF: The SAM displays no ABS override alarm.

Note

The system alarm parameter may be set to OFF only temporarily to suppress
alarms when servicing the system. The system alarm parameter must always be
set to ON after service has been completed and the system is put back into nor-
mal operation.
