WAN Adapter Modules

The WAN adapter modules support Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), frame relay, 
ISDN, Switched Multimegabit Data Services (SMDS), and IBM protocols. 

Figure 2-5

 shows a WAN adapter module.

In this guide, WAN adapter module refers to the following modules:

Serial (V.35, RS-232, RS-449/422 balanced, RS-530, and X.21)
