ATM T1/E1 Interface

The Passport 5430 supports the ATM T1/E1 interface to provide ATM WAN 
connectivity. The ATM T1/E1 interface allows the consolidation of data, voice, 
and video in one WAN connection. The interface supports the following WAN 
services:

•

Available bit rate (ABR) 

•

Variable bit rate (VBR) 

•

Constant bit rate (CBR) for circuit emulation service (CES)

Configuring ATM Services describes asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) and 
what you do to start and customize ATM services on the Passport 5430.
