Where:
<IP Network> is the IP address of the network that you need to access
through the Passport 4400 to which you are presently connected. For
example, 192.168.1.0.
<Net Mask> is the network mask for this IP Network address. For
example, 255.255.255.0 is the network mask for IP Network address
192.168.1.0.
<Local IP Address> is either the internal IP address assigned to the PPP
stack in the Passport 4400 (when the unit is in routing mode); or it is the
bridging IP address (when the unit is in bridging mode). In either case, it
is the Gateway Address used to route packets from the PPP stack to other
nodes in the network.

If you are running Windows NT, you may enter an optional parameter that
allows the new route to be persistent through dial-up connections and PC
reboots. To do this, include the "-p" switch, as shown in this example:
ROUTE -p ADD 192.168.1.0 MASK 255.255.255.0 192.168.200.200

To verify that the command has taken effect, try pinging the new route you
entered (or use the "route print" DOS command).
