Available Wizards
Install Tool provides the following wizards:
Wizard Use this wizard to . . .
Setup Wizard configure the entire unit: all ports and basic services
that are available on the Passport 4400.
Basic Wizard configure system information (such as node name),
the phone directory server, the primary WAN link,
the Ethernet port, IP routing or bridging, and
(optionally) IPX routing.
Note: This wizard is available only on
Passport 4430, Passport 4450, and Passport 4455
units.
Backup Wizard configure the backup WAN link. This wizard is
available only if either of the following conditions is
true:
• the Passport 4400 is equipped with a WAN
module in port 3, or
• port 1 has been selected as the primary port
and there is a WAN module in port 2.
Note: This wizard is available only on
Passport 4430, Passport 4450, and Passport 4455
units.
Incoming PANL Wizard configure WAN ports that meet the following criteria:
• The unit is configured as a Central or a Regional
node (but not a Branch node).
• The Port is either unconfigured or is configured
for switching.
• The port is not configured as the Primary or the
Backup port on the Regional switch.
In all other cases, the wizard is unavailable.
Note: This wizard is available only on
Passport 4430, Passport 4450, and Passport 4455
units.
Service Wizard configure any serial ports that are not currently
configured, or are configured for a service other
than Switching. For each such port, you can select
and configure the following data service for that
port: Frame Relay DCE, HTDS, CBR, SNA, or X.25.
Voice Wizard configure voice channels for T1, E1, FXS, E&M, and
ISDN BRI services.
