Using Passport 4400 Install Tool Version 4.2

 

Verifying the Configuration Values

Once the reset operation completes, the Install Tool wizard executes a diagnostic 
test of the selected port. This allows you to verify your configuration values before 
continuing. 

This is an example of a diagnostic display:

If you wish to run the diagnostic test again, click on Check. 

Saving and Activating Your New Configuration

Purpose

You must use the Save & Activate function to ensure that your configuration 
values are written to Flash memory. If you do not perform this function, your 
changes could be lost if any type of power interruption occurs.
