Edge Heat Lamps

(contd.)

14. Insert each buss bar (4) into the bottom ceramic protector (1).

15. Install the top ceramic protector (1) over the bottom protector.

16. Install both junction reflectors (5) on the conveyor rail.

17. Perform steps 10 through 16 for all remaining lamp replacements.

18. Using a flat blade screwdriver, turn the cover manual override

counter-clockwise to lower the oven cover.

19. Apply power to the oven.

20. Perform a

Lamp Verification.

Inspect, clean, and lubricate the conveyor after every 400 hours of oven
operation. Adjust the conveyors tension and width after the first 400
hours of oven operation then, as required thereafter.

CAUTION: Do not over lubricate the conveyor. Excess oil
attracts dirt resulting in increased torque on the drive motors.
Failure to observe this caution will result in equipment damage.

Nordson recommends using a light, high temperature, synthetic oil on the
conveyor. Perform the following steps to lubricate the conveyor:

1. Enter the

MAINTENANCE STATUS menu.

2. Select Clean/ Lubricate conveyor.

NOTE: The conveyor will start moving.

3. For manual oiling, perform the following steps:

a. Use a

-in. wide paint brush. Pour oil into a shallow container.

b. Select the Begin lubricating chain on movable rail or Begin

lubricating chain on fixed rail pad.

NOTE: The countdown begins on the monitor assembly.
