Troubleshooting Procedures for the Select Cure 100-Inch IR Oven are
contained here.  To perform most of these procedures, it will be
necessary to remove the oven’s access panels, guards, and bypass
safety switches.  These safety devices are installed on the oven for
personal protection.

NOTE:  Removing either the electrical or circuit breaker access panels
while the oven is on will trip the main contactor.

The following table contains troubleshooting procedures for the power
supply.

Problem

Possible Cause

1. No power

Oven system configuration does not
agree with the 3-phase service line

See Figure 6-1.  Verify that oven
transformer’s primary wiring
configuration verses schematic is
correct for the given 3-phase service line
voltage.

Measure incoming 3-phase service line
voltage.  If service line voltage is not
correct,

change service line to match the
oven configuration.

install an oven power conversion kit.
Call your Nordson representative for
more information.

3-phase service line dips and surges

Remove any additional equipment
branches from oven’s 3-phase service
line.  Correct facility’s service line power
fluctuations.

2. Oven circuit breaker

Oven access cover interlock switches
tripped

Check for loose, or removed circuit
breaker and electrical panel access
covers.  Check each cover interlock
switch and wiring for shorts.  Repair as
necessary.
