Problem

Possible Cause

Corrective Action

3. Main contactor not

energizing

Bad I/O card

If “Main” LED on SSR card is on, verify
that I/O card LED O6 is on.  If LED O6 is
off, replace I/O card.

Open or shorted ribbon cable 2053 or
SSR card

Turn off oven.  Check cable 2053 for
opens or shorts.  Replace ribbon cable
2053.

If main contactor does not energize after
replacing ribbon cable 2053, replace
SSR card.

Bad main contactor

Use a voltmeter to check for 120 VAC
between A1 and A2 on main contactor.
If 120 VAC is present, replace main
contactor.

Open E-Stop button, Cover Switch, or
Overtemperature (CR237)

Turn off oven.  Remove black dust cover
from J8 and J7 on SSR card. Turn on
oven.  Access OPERATOR SCREEN
menu.

Check for 120 VAC between pins 8 and
9 of connector J8 on SSR card.  If
voltage is not present, use an ohmmeter
to check for an open between these pins
on the SSR card:

J7– 9  and 10        overtemperature
J7– 7  and 8                 cover switch
J7–16 and 17                        E-stop
Replace components as necessary.
Install SSR card dust covers on J7 and
J8.
