Bad limit-switch board Verify that both limit-switch board LED’s
are on and dual-motor controller board
LED’s L3 and L4 are off. Slide a piece
of paper through minimum and
maximum limit optical switch slot. While
sliding paper, verify that dual-motor
controller card LED’s L3 and L4 turn on.
If LED’s on limit-switch board do not turn
off, replace limit-switch board.
3. PRD WIDTH actual value
slightly overshoots
setpoint
Bad encoder board While in
RAISE COVER SCREEN
menu, remove gear from the encoder
board shaft.
Mark the encoder shaft. Slowly rotate
encoder shaft one complete turn. The
actual PRD WIDTH value should
changed by 5.08 mm. Slowly rotate
shaft back to its starting point. The PRD
WIDTH actual value should return to its
original value. Quickly rotate encoder
shaft through one full turn and back. If
original value does not return, replace
encoder board.
Attach encoder board shaft to gear.
Broken or missing pulse wheel on
conveyor width motor If conveyor width motor pulse wheel is
gone, replace conveyor width motor
assembly.
