Installation
WARNING: Allow only qualified personnel to perform the
following tasks. Observe and follow the safety instructions in
this document and all related documents.
CAUTION: Static sensitive device. Proper handling
procedures must be followed for all controller cars. Failure to
observe this caution may result in equipment damage.
This section contains the tasks required to install the Select Cure
100-Inch IR Oven (oven) as part of an in-line system or as a standalone
unit. The installation of the exhaust blower, exhaust duct work, electrical
conduit, electrical service line, and supply air line to the oven is the sole
responsibility of the customer.
A clean, dry 0.01 cmm (0.4 cfm) compressed air supply delivered at
5.5 bar (80 psi) is required to raise the oven’s cover. Connection to the
oven is through a 9.5 mm (

in.) quick connect coupling near the oven
exhaust port.
Always use an independent 3-phase electrical service line for the ovens
primary power source. The oven can be configured for service line of
208 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 3

Y at 100 amps or, 380 VAC, 416 VAC, 480 VAC,
50/60 Hz, 3
∅
Y at 60 amps. Refer to the oven nameplate to verify the
ovens current configuration.
An electrical conversion kit is available for changing the oven’s
configuration. Contact your local Nordson representative or distributor for
details.
