7.8.1) Remote programming unit
More specifically, connector BusT4.8 (see figure 30) enables con-
nection of the remote programming unit OperaView which enables
complete and rapid management of installation, maintenance and
troubleshooting of any malfunctions.
To access the connector, remote the membrane as shown in figure 31.
The remote programming unit can be placed at a distance from the
control unit, with up to 100m of cable; it can be connected simulta-
neously to up to 16 and can remain connected during normal oper-
ation of RUN; in this case a specific “user” menu enables delivery of
commands to the control unit.
If a ONEXI type radio receiver is inserted in the control unit, the
remote programming unit enables access to the parameters of the
memorised transmitters.
A 4-core cable is required for these functions (BusT4) while am 8-
core cable of maximum length 1m (BusT8) also enables updates of
the firmware of the RUN control unit.
