Configuration Example

This example shows the VLAN configuraion for the ethernet switch only. Thus you must set the

VLAN configuration for system interfaces using the

qvlan

command. How to use the

qvlan

command is explained above chapter.

Blow commands starts with a cleared (default) configuration of the VLAN configuration for

ethernet switch.

Step1:

Configuring a PVID for the p3 port.

NBG440_RT(conf)# ethsw pvid 120 1 p3

Step2:

Configuring 3 VLANs.

NBG440_RT(conf)# ethsw add 100 p1 lan

NBG440_RT(conf)# ethsw add 110 p2 lan

NBG440_RT(conf)# ethsw add 120 p3 lan

Step3:

Remove ports p1, p2, p3 and lan from the

default

VLAN.

NBG440_RT(conf)# ethsw del 1 p1 p2 p3 lan

Step4:

Set the p1, p2 and lan as the trunk port.

NBG440_RT(conf)# ethsw trunk enable p1 p2 lan
