Configuration Example

Below is an example of how to configure 3 VLANs to be transported in tagged form and one

management VLAN to access the NBG440 unit.

Two NBG440s act as a transparent bridge with tag-based VLANs.

> Two NBG440s are configured as a bridge. The LAN and S0 must be configured as the

bridging-

only

mode. And the LAN interface should be configured with an IP address for management.

> You should set the

ethdlc

encapsulation to the S0 interface.

Configuring an IP address used for management
