Renaming a VLAN

Each VLAN is given a name that can be up to 31 characters. VLAN names are locally

significant. You cannot change the name of the

default

VLAN.

To rename an existing VLAN, use the following command.

COMMAND

(conf)# qvlan name <vid> <string>

Parameters

<vid> - A VLANid , Valid parameter range is from 2 to 4094.

<string> - Characters defined by user

Usage Examples:

Verifying VLAN Settings

To display VLAN settings, use the following command.
