2. Type your gateway’s WAN IP address into your browser’s address or location field followed by a
colon (:) and the custom port number.
For example, if your external address is 134.177.0.123 and you use port number 8080, enter
http://134.177.0.123:8080 in your browser.
Firewall Rules
The Firewall Rules page sets the level of security on your local network.
To specify the firewall security level:
All security levels, except “None,” protect against known Internet attacks and attempts at remote
access to your modem.
1. On a computer or wireless device that is connected to your gateway, launch a Web browser.
2. In the address or URL field of your browser, type

5. Select the radio button for the security level that you want.
6. Click the

button to confirm the change.
